Atlantic, new NATO plane, shown at Toulouse Colomiers

Nov. 11, 1961 - Atlantic, NATO's new plane presented at Toulouse: Atlantic, NATO's new plane chiefly intended for reconnaissance and anti-submarine missions was presented to the press at Toulouse Colomiers yesterday. The new 40-ton plane has a flight capacity of 12 to 18 hours, a Maximum speed of 615 kilometers ph and its field of action exceeds 9000 kilometers. It was constructed by Breguet in collaboration with NATO country firms. Photo shows Atlantic during the demonstration at Toulouse yesterday
