Airquartermasters training at Brize Norton The only female member of the aircrew to serve in the Royal Air Forces, WRAF Airquartermasters who fly on Air Support Command's world-wide routes all receive their flying training at R.A.F. Station, Brize Norton, Oxon, which today opened its doors to the press. The girls training include the preparation of aircraft trim sheets supervision of leading freight and passengers, supervision of cabin service on passenger aircraft and the operation of safety equipment. The latter entails training on the VC10 simulated escape chute and the launching of a life craft under realistic conditions. Keystone Photo Shows: Sgt.
