Mar. 03, 1960 - The ambassador of the republic Guinea: was welcomed with military honours in East Berlin. Guinea is the first non-communistic state which accepts the DDR (German Democratic Republic). On March 5th, 1960 the ambassador Dr. Seydon Conte (Dr. Seydon Conte0 handed over the credentials to the president of the DDR Wilhelm Pieck (Wilhelm Pieck).
