Nov. 11, 1965 - They're one of Australia's Happiest Families: They might not be the largest, but they are certainly one of the happiest families in Australia. they are MRS. Winifred Robinson, her husband Kric, and their 12 children, aged between 22 months and 20 years. they live in an old run down farmhouse just outside the township of Quirindi, about 250 miles north west of Sydney. Mrs.Robinson holds what could be an Australian record for a mother. she gave birth to five children in ten months and she did not have quin. in January 1963 Mrs.Robinson gave birth to twins. in the following December she had Triplets. Mr Mrs.Robinson have been married for 20 years, and have lived in the house at Quirindi for 17 years. Mr.Robinson, who is a truoking contractor, has been out of work for the past two months.'The local council is giving preference to farmer's trucks, and there isn't any work for fellows like me at the moment;he said. but something will come along soon, he added cheerfully. whenever the whole family goes to town, all the kids ride in the back of the five ton truck. before they had the truck when any one went to town, they used to walk the 16 miles there and back, Mrs.Robinson said twins are not uncommon in Mrs. Robinson's family.five sets were born on her mother side and five on her Fathers's.
