Nov. 11, 1969 - Australian Ex-Minister States That Gorton's Shapely Wiggly Secretary Gort Him Sacked From new Ministry: Mr. Dudley Erwins, former Australian Air Minister, claimed he was dropped from the new Ministry because of the influence of Prime Minister Gorton's pretty secretary, 23-year old Miss Ainsley Gotto. Mr. Erwin, who was leader of the Government in the House of Representatives, claimed he was removed through a political manoeuvre.
