Jun. 06, 1973 - New Zealand Minister for Atom protest Mr. Fraser Colman: Mr. Fraser Colman, Minister of Immigration, has been chosen by the New Zealand cabinet to sail with the frigate Otago towards the French nuclear testing zone in the Pacific. Prime Minister Norman Kirk said that all members of the Cabinet. including himself had volunteered to do so. Mr. Colman's name was picked by ballot. The Otage will sail on Thursday and later meet the Australian oiler Supply near the French Mururoa Atol testing site as a protest against the nuclear tests expected soon.
