Jun. 06, 1976 - Australian V.C Gets another Medal From Prime minster Fraser in Tokyo. Ray Simpson who won a Victoria Cross, and a Distinguished conduct medal for bravery while serving with the Australian Forces in the Korean war, was decorated with a good conduct and long service Medal, by prime minster John Malcolm Fraser during his visit to Tokyo. The presentation was made at the Akasaka palace in Tokyo where the visiting prime minister was staying, Simpson. who served 18 years in the Australian Army, is a member of the staff of the Australian Embassy in Tokyo
