Aug. 08, 1953 - Sanders on his way Home: Budapest radio said today that Edgar Sanders, The British businessman pardoned and freed after three and a half years in a Hungarian jail, had already left the country. Two British Embassy officials left Vienna by car this morning, presumably for the Hungarian border to meet him. Mr. Sanders, Russian- Born representative of the Standard Electric company, was given a 13-years-old sentence in February, 1950. on a charge last night, after a elementary plea from his wife, Mrs. Winifred Senders. Barbars, 18 Yvonne, 17, and Denise, 13, left their home at Frinton- On- Sea for London. They plan to fly to Vienna or the nearest point at which they can meet Mr. Sanders.
