Jul. 07, 1956 - Hungarian aircraft crew returns home. They were attacked by Anti-Communist Passengers. : A party of anti-communist passengers recently attacked and overpowered the crew of an Hungarian Civil Airliner and landed it at an American controlled airfield at Manching, near Ingolstadt, West Germany. The anti - Communists, sex men and a girl were students and have applied for asylum in Germany. The crew of the aircraft and the remainder of the passenger recently returned to Hungary.
