Sep. 09, 1965 - Special Stamp from Austria: Because of the XX. International Red - Cross Conference 1965 in Vienna the Austrian post administration publishes a new special stamp. The 3 Shilling stamp can be bought at the post offices on and after the 27. September. It is flag-red and lamp-black and is published with a printing of 3 million pieces. The stamp wears on a dark ground the international red-cross sign, which is something covered by a gauze-band in the right edge at the top, beside this the statement of value and currency and the inscription: XX International Red - Cross Conference 1965
