Mar. 03, 1970 - Axe Springer Attends Court: Herr Axel Springer. the publisher, appeared in Court in Berlin, last week, at the trial of Horst Mahler, the left-wing layer charged with inciting a riot after the attempted assassination of Herr Rudi Deutsocke, the student leader, in April 1968. Herr Springer, who had been fined twice for failing to appear previously as a witness for the defence arrived escorted by three policeman and went into the witness box. His appearance in out was accompanied by riotous scenes.
