Mar. 03, 1970 - Axel Springer appeared in Court: The Hamburg large-scale publisher Axel C. Springer for the first time took position in court to the part his newspapers plaid during the Easter riots 1968 in several towns of the Federal Republic of Germany. Axel Springer had recalled twice without valid excuse his appearance in court as a witness in the Berlin Mahler proceedings. He has already go therefore fines of DM 500 and DM 1000.
