May 05, 1974 - Soviet author Maxinow in Berlin: As a guest Wladimir Maximow (our picture shows him with his wife) spent some days in Berlin. The special reason was his first public apperance at a manifestation of the reestablished Association of Free Germany in the Cobgress Hall. Maximow, aged 42, since two months lives in Paris. In February of this year surprisingly got from the Soviet Authorities the permission for a one year stay in France. After the appointed time, the author who in 1967 got into the lies of fire of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union after having joined the democratic opposition and in the past year had beentracized from the Soviet Auhtors Association, will return to his native country. However, he is in doubt as to the U.S.S.R. authorities will give him the permission
