1980 - 150th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Religious Body of the Mormons. On April 6th, 1830 Joseph Smith published his book of the Mormons and such founded the Kirche Jesu Christi der Heiligen der Letzten Tage'. this happened in Fayette in the American state New York. The congregation founded by Smith, (1805-1844) settled at the Salt Lake of Utah after several migration through the desert. with the prospering colony of Salt Lake City Bingham Young in 1848 founded the state of the Mormons. The doctrin of them contains biblical and gnostic thoughts. The Church nowadays is spread over the whole world and has about 1, 5 millions members. In the Federal Republic there are about 20.000 Mormons
