May 16, 1951 - Little David Lees, four years old, was joking around with his sister when he decided to climb into a mailing box. What was a joke soon became rather upsetting as David couldn't get out. His sister ran home and told adults. Police and postal workers were able to free the boy after two hours. In the meantime, people put chocolate and other sweets in the box to soothe David
