Shirley is the girl with the hole-in-her-heart, and when she married doctors said that it would be dangerous for her become a mother. Shirley still receives regular medical treatment - but is perfectly happy running home and caring for her lovely baby. Husband Guilio is now working as a waiter in Portsmouth.
