Mar. 03, 1964 - MAN WITH A CHILD IN HIS ARMS THREATENS TO JUMP FROM THE ROOF OF A THREE STOREY BUILDING. Fireman and police were called to Marchmont Street, Bloomsbury, this evening, when a man with a baby in his arms threatened to jump from the roof of a three storey building, talking the child with him. A crowd of several hundred people gathered below as Woman police Constable Margaret Clelland, who had been trying to reason with the man, drew closer to him and grabbed the baby from his arms.
