Aug. 08, 1963 - Adventured for Children.: St. Pancras Borough Council in North London have set up a new Adventure playground for the local children. At the playground the children can do whatever they like, such as lightning fires, fighting, scribbling, on the walls, sawing up logs, in fact anything they want. There is also a clubhouse with a playground supervisor, containing a kitchen and woodwork room with facilities for modelling etc. and the Council are working on the theory that the children will soon be bored with doing pointless destructive things and will want to start doing something useful.
