Jul. 07, 1968 - Firemen have to free baby from spin drier. Firemen using oxy-acetylen torches spent four hours today struggling to free 21- months old Scott Harris his mother's spin drier. he was stuck firmly in the tub of the drier at has home in Ripley court, Hazlemere avenue, mictham. It happened when midnight feed. He asked to stand in the drier bu sat down and got stuck fast. Mrs. Harris and her two daughters spent nearly an hour trying to free him by pouring soppy water over him but it was no use, so they called the firemen. phto shows Today's picture of little Scott Harris who was freed by firemen afte getting stuck in a spin drier
