Taking a Step Towards a New Life : Parents of Children that cannot walk because they have muscular disease restricting their movement and are unable to build the muscle up to take their body weight, can take new heart. Thanks to a group of anonymous Adelaide(Australia) students and craftsmen, they will be able to take their first tentative steps, for they have invented a frame mounted on rollers for mobility and collapsible for transport, that helps the muscles gradually learn to take the body weight. Used for half an hour a day, the frame has a leather strap that helps collapsing at the waist or hip, and pads that limit the knee bending, The feet fit into small stirrups and a support at the chest prevents slumping forward.
