Jul. 07, 1958 - Baghdad Pact Council Meeting At Lancaster House. Mr. Harold Macmillan, the Prime Minister, opened the meeting of the Baghdad Pact Council at Lancaster House, London. The United States agreed to co-operate with the Baghdad Pact countries for their security and defence and will shortly make agreements with them to this and, it was announced
