Feb. 25 Man made rain barrel to solve Bahama water problem The island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas has solved a long-standing water problem with the introduction of what is termed a giant fabric water barrel. A 1.5 million gallon capacity Fabritank reservoir has been installed. Rain is caught into specially-coated nylon fabric reservoirs. Hitherto and 158-square mile island had to import distilled water for domestic use
