He supports elbows, but never raises one- a hard- headed regular with a heart of stone. Joe- the dummy -was left at the pub, in Metherell, Cornwall, by an absent- minded customer. Usually he sits outside, but they don't let Joe Inwhenitrains stay out when it rains
