Jun. 06, 1954 - Plenty of food for all at the barbecue Fourteen pigs and 550 ten pound fowls were cooked over a pit in the recreation ground at Faversham, Kent, yesterday by American servicemen from Manston Air Station. It was all part of the great Barbecue held to raise money for Faversham proposed community centre.
