Baking - Butchers - Cooking - Drink - Food
Jul. 07, 1957 - Kopenhagen's largest Restaurant ceased to excist: the National Scala, where one could eat as much as one pleased for only 75¢. Large counters displayed large varieties of appetizingly prepared food and everybody was allowed to help himself to any amount. Last summer the restaurant was still the main appraction for all tourists from various countries. Recently it ceased operation. The famous cold cuts for only 75, which could be consumed by all visitors, is probably one of the reasons of the deficit.
