The letter had been written by a 25-year-old Greece girl, who put down the following statement, Gentlemen. I am a poor girl. The partisans have burned-down up our home, and they have taken everything away from us. I dare ask the receiver of this note to help US, and to send us food and clothing. Preliminary investigations have revealed the fact that the girl, a refugee from North-West Greece. Has actually lost all her Belongings, during the Greece Civil-war, in 1946/1947. The German Hausfrau is Presently busy to collect and pack items which shall be sent to Greece, to help a girl who packed a see above
