Mar. 31 How about a rice tasty piece of Snake? Ever eaten snake? Does the idea nauseate you? Well go to Tokyo where a nice bit of grilled snake is locked upon as one of the gourmet's delights. We think to eat snake is rather horrible, but Japanese, who eat it and like it, say You ear eels and think nothing of it, and the eel is only the snake of the sea'. The Fukuchan restaurant in Tokyo serves only snakes, including vipers, adders from Northern Japan. Snakes blood is full of Vitamins and hormones and is drunk fresh from the snake when the head is cut off. A nice striped Aodaisho grilled over charcoal, costs 350 Yen (about one U.S Dollar or seven shillings) this include a small glass of sake, the liver and kidneys. A kitchen helper cuts off the snake's skin with a pair of scissors during the preparations before cooking
