1966 - The French Meat Carrying Championship took place yesterday at the pavilion at Halles de Paris. Contestants carried heavy pieces of meat 100 meters. The contest started with 250 kilograms of meat. The winner of the contest, Auguste Bourrier from Paris, succeeded in carrying a 280 kilogram bag. He is pictured here with the artist Bourvil, who tries without success to lift a bag full of meat
