Nov. 11, 1953 - Tiger Goes for a Stroll - in the Streets of Ascot: Quite a familiar sight in the streets of Ascot, Berkshire, these days - is Nizam often goes for a stroll and although the local people like to see him - they usually keep their distance. Nizam who weights 2 1/2 cwt. is one of the animals now in training at ascot for the forthcoming Bertram Mills Circus. Photo shows The Motor Cycle Policeman is not sure wether it is permissible for a tiger to go for a walk in the street - and stops to talk it over with the trainer
