Jun. 06, 1955 - It began in a bookseller's shop but soon the Brazilian primeval-drums were sounding through whole thew world. At the end of 1949 a group of dance-enthusiastic youngsters began to practise in the booksellers shop of the author and journalist Miecio Ascanasy )Miecio Ascansy) in Rio.After successful shows in theri Brazilian capital the Theatro Folciorico Brasileiro (Theatro Folklorico Brasileiro) names Brasiliana began a tournee, which brought the young dancers success in all countries. Form 2.6.55 til 4.6.55 the Brasiliana-troup with their wild dance rhythms gave much pleasure to the Munich spectators.
