Mar. 07, 1956 - 7-3-56 German ballerina sues Italian artist. She sold her nude picture to night club Lise Schneider, a ballerina from Berlin and who now lives in Rome, posed for the well known artist Novella Parigini who painted her nude to the waist. Later Novella sold the painting to the Jockey Club one of Rome expensive night clubs who displayed it on a wall where it could be appreciated by the clients. Lise now alleges that she posed as a friendly gesture for Novella, without payment, and was horrified to see herself on show in the nude.
