Aug. 08, 1956 - REHEARSING NEW INDIAN BALLET. THE DANCER AND HER YOUNG DRUMMER SON. 25 - year old Indian dancer, KUMUDINI, was to be seen at India House rehearsing the leading part in a new ballet by the Ram Copal Company, which tells the story of the Taj Mahal, and which has its world premiere at the Edinburgh Festival on September 8th. Kumudini, is the wife of the musical director of the Ram Copal Company, has an 18-months old son SHREERAJ, who, through his father, is learning to play the drums.
