Aug. 08, 1956 - American ballet theater arrives. the American Ballet theater of new york city, arrived at London airport today, to commence an extended tour of Europe and the Near est. Durings the company's two-week London season - from august 20 to september 1- a repertoire of 14 balles will be presented. The company, who last performed in Britain in 1 1953, appears under the auspices of the American national theater academy. and after its London season leaves for the contraindicate and the near east, where they will visit 13 countries. photo shows Audry Deckman wore an attractive matching hood - when she arrived at London today
