Jul. 07, 1957 - Red Skelton And His Son Arrive In Copenhagen Youngster Suffers From Incurable Leukaemia: Comedian Red Skelton and his nine year old son Richard arrive in Copenhagen this morning on first stop of their family round-the-world trip. Richard Skelton is suffering from Leukaemia - and specialists may that he has not long to live. Red planned this dream trip in the hope it will give his son every possible happiness. He is to visit England - Sweden- Italy - France - Spain and Germany and periodic checks will be made on his health and he will be seen by specialists - in the hope that one may be able to save him.
