Feb. 26 Backenzie's up the Pole: The onlookers are amazed as Charlie the seal waddles past with Mackenzie theacaw perched on top of the pole which he is balancing on his nose. Scale have been balancing things on their noses in Circuses for more years than anyone can remember, but Charlie is the very first seal ever to balance a perch and a bird on his. There's a bit of wing Fluttering and squawking from Mackenzie, but he's gradually getting used to it. Charlie was practising his act at Chipperfield's Circus at Clapham Co where he is performing it for the first time
