Feb. 29 They fight on the stage put they are the best of Friends: Two boys who spend their working lives fighting each other and yet are the best of friends, are the Two Earls, now appearing at the London Palladium. Their names are Elmer Jones and Ted Evans and ever since they met at school in their native town of Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. they have boxed, wrestled, practised weight lifting and hand balancing together. On stage they have a mock fight during which they throw each other around with such ease and agility it looks easy - until you try it yourself. The two earls have appeared in most cities in the U.S.A. but this is their first appearance in Europe. Photo shows One Earl uses the other Earl as a springboard and he just doesn't feel a thing
