Dec. 20 One of the plays they played very often is The Judge of Weitwoert. The contents of the play is that the judge of Weitwoert is everywhere known as a tyrant who throws Andreas into prison for alleged poaching. Burgl, the bride of Andreas, tries to manage that Andreas will be released. She succeeds in getting a document which compromises the judge. For that the judge is sent out of the country. Andreas is then set free and may have his happy end with Burgl. The play is performed in front of Laufen convent church and it was written by a postman
