Mar. 27 The Beauties of the Bal Tabarin: Montmartre, haunt of artists is also the centre of the gay night life of Paris. One of the most famous of the many night clubs in the district is the Bal Tabarin in which for over forty years has been a favourite with Parisians and a must for tourists from all over the World. Bal Tabarin has been closed for six months, but has now re opened with one of the finest floor shows in Paris. A troupe of girls dance the fiery, vivacious Can-can as only French girls can, Can-Can. Something novel too are the beautiful nearly nude girls who perform acrobatics on the backs of rearing horses. Most visitors are so busy looking at the girls that they don't realise that the horses are not real, but just life sized models. Still who goes to Bal Tatarin to look at horses?
