Apr. 17 Three Weeks to learn the dance of the Seven Veils: Young star Venus: When 16 year old June Wilkinson, ex-Windmill girl, left to join the Venus Club, St. John's Wood, opening shortly, she was asked to do a Salome. But June who had nearly to years experience at the Windmill had never before thrown off the veils and so she set to work to learn it in the brief space of three weeks. When we saw her in the near completed club, she was practicing hard and looked like being perfect on the night. June's measurements 41 1/2 - 24 - 36 1/2 is to be the leading Venus in the club. With her brown locks training down over shapely shoulders, and her deep red lips and sutry eyes, June looks older than her years.
