Jul. 16, 1960 - In the ravines of the Balkans this year the Karl May Festival of Bad Segeberg (BAD SEGEBERG/ Northern Germany) is held. From July 16th till Aug. 22nd, the open air stage in Bad Segeberg will be the Mecca again for young and old friends of Karl May (writer of very popular adventurous and thrilling books). This year's festival In the ravines of the Balkans is based on the book with the last century in the Balkan mountains.
