May 05, 1964 - Jousting - Down In Somerset Battle-Royal - With Lances. Jousting between knights armed with lances and swords will be seen in Britain again spoon after 125 years. Seven top point-to-point horsemen will do battle at the Elizabethan Monatcute House, Yeovil, Somerset on June 27th. It is all part of the, 5000 one-day sports tournament to be run by the National Trust.
