May 05, 1963 - Formby will dispute.: The dispute over comedian George Formby's will, in which he left £135, 000 to the girl he was going to marry, 38 year old Miss Pat Howson, and left nothing to his 84-year-old Mother and three sisters, started in the High Court yesterday.It was stated that George Formby had never made any will until the last few months before his death, when he made three in rapid succession, the last one, which is the one in dispute, being made only 11 days before he died.
