Feb. 02, 1964 - English Couples won the Championships: On February 15th, 64 in Munich took place an International Professional Dancing - Competition, where he has been found out the winners of the Grober Preis von Europa 1964 (Great Prize of Europe 1964). For the first time there has been fighted in two groups for the titles. In the one group there was to find the best in the standard dances (Waltz, Tango, Vienna Waltz, Slow-Fox and Quickstep), in the other group there was to find the best in the Latin-American dances (Rumba, Samba, Paso doble, Cha-cha-cha). The two titles was given to English couples. Photo shows the winner in the standard-dances Peter Eggleton and Brenda Winslade from London
