Dec. 12, 1968 - Jimmy Tarbuck's number one son is christened Tommy Steele is Godfather: The christening took place today at St. Ann's Church, Kingston Hill, Surrey, of comedian Jimmy Tarbuck's first son born on June 12th, 1968, and named James Thomas. Tommy Steele, a close friend of the family, was the child's godfather. The Tarbuck's two small daughters, Cheryl, 8, and Liza, 4, were present at the ceremony.
