Jul. 07, 1967 - Circus Gives Performance On Aircraft Carrier: Billy Smart's Circus yesterday put on a show at Portsmouth on board the aircraft carrier, Albion. The circus is performing in the city, and Captain Basil Pearce of the Albion accepted their offer to put on a show. Photo shows Elephants seen performing beside the aircraft carrier Albion at Portsmouth yesterday. There was no gangway wide enough to allow the elephants on board - so they gave their show off-stage
