Jul. 07, 1967 - Circus Gives Performance On Aircraft Carrier: Billy Smart's Circus yesterday put on a show at Portsmouth on board the aircraft carrier, Albion. The circus is performing in the city, and Captain Basil Pearce of the Albion accepted their offer to put on a show. Photo shows Elephants from the circus seen performing alongside the Albion at Portsmouth yesterday. They gave their performance off-stage because their was no gangway wide enough to allow them aboard
