Jun. 06, 1969 - Auditions for Caesar's Triumphal procession scene in Peter Snell's production of Julius Caesar : About a hundred girls today took part in auditions at the Criterion Theater today, in order to find 12 beautiful girls to take part in the recreation of Caesar's triumphants return to Rome following his defeat of Pompey's sons at the Battle of Munda, which will from the opening sequence of Peter Snell's ambitious new screen production of Shakespeare's immortal classic Julius Cansar, for Commonwealth United Release. Each girls is to be between 17 and 20 years of age and sufficiently curvaceous to look her best in the revealing costumes Robin Archer's design of which are based on the original Mantegna sketches of the procession at Hampton Court Palace.
