His starring in Circus Krone which was an immense success for him will be finished. The famous clown will go to a sanatorium in South Germany to let treat his rheumatism. Amongst others he will be accompanied by this small image, a Charlie Rivel Marionette, which has been made by artist craftsman Charlotte Brugel from Munich and was given to him as present in memory of his performance in Munich (photo). Charlie Rivel will probably also celebrate his 75th birthday in the sanatorium on April 23rd of this year
