Ballet - Circus - Comedians - Dancers - Entertainers - Plays

Aug. 08, 1972 - New York City Ballet at Munich on occasion of the Olympic cultural programm: A great event of note for the friends of ballet will take place in Munich from the 11th to 14th of August: the New York City Ballet gives 5 performances at the National theater. The group will arrive with 36 solo dancers and 52 ensemble-dancers, conducted by their choreographer George Balanchine. But the famous troup has still got more intentions: following their stay in Munich, they will go on tour to the Soviet-Union, starting on the 21st of September in Kiev. Our picture shows the two stars of the troup Patricia McBride and Anthony Blum
