Oct. 10, 1972 - World Premiere of Jurgen's Musical Helden in Vienna Udo Jurgens first musical, from George Bernhard Shaw's delicious comedy about the life of a soldier Arms and the Man will have its World Premiere in the Theater an der Wien in Vienna on October 27, 1972. This musical was produced by Rolf Kutschera, the theater manager. It took Jurgens four years to compose, with interruptions. Jurgens and Kutschera stand together in this picture during a rehearsal. Udo will naturally be at the Premiere of his musical, but, a day later his great European tour begins - it will last until March 26, 1973
